BERNICE JEAN QUINLAN, 86, of Huntington, widow of Michael Andrew Quinlan, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012. She was born May 9, 1925, in Huntington, a daughter of the late John and Mary Insco Jauch. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters. She is survived by her children, Mary Rose (David) Gooderham, Andrea Jean (Steve) Davis, Michael Andrew (JoAnne) Quinlan, Penelope Kay Slater, Jennifer Elaine (John) Booten, Rebecca Ann (Ron) Price; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Huntington, with Father Dean Borgmeyer and Father Julian Marneni officiating. Mrs. Quinlan's grandsons, Steven Gooderham, Matthew Gooderham, Charles Thompson, Michael Quinlan, Damon Slater, Ryan Fullen, Baxter Fullen and Jarod Preston, will act as pallbearers. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Huntington in Bernice's honor.
