Julie Donahoe
(April 13, 1969 ~ July 23, 2017)
Julie Donahoe, 48, of Barboursville,
WV went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2017 with her family and
friends by her side. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Thursday at
7:30 p.m. at Beard Mortuary. The family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m.
She was born April 13, 1969 the daughter of Dr. Don Donahoe and Sue Dillon
Donahoe of Barboursville formerly of Logan, WV. She was preceded in death by
a brother, Ronnie Chambers. She was a graduate of Logan High School and
Huntington School of Beauty Culture. She was the owner of Karma Salon and
has been a hairdresser for over 20 years. Julie lived by example the motto
“Be peaceful, loving and kind” and encouraged others to do the same. She
fought hard during her battle with cancer and never let the disease
discourage her from helping others, she would say “Living is giving” and
proved this to people by having backpack and coat drives every year for the
needy. In addition to her parents she is survived by her loving family, her
wife who she adored, Catherine L. Donahoe; her two children who were her
greatest gift and all she ever dreamed of having, London Darby Donahoe and
Brinkley Catherine Donahoe, she is also survived by her sweet sister, Susie
Chambers of Barboursville, a loving brother and sister-in-law, Schoch and
Lara Donahoe of Huntington, WV; her very special nieces and nephews; a best
friend for over 20 years who has been by her side, Micki Woods of Huntington
and a host of extended family, special friends and clients who she held very
dear to her heart.
