Mike "Big G" Scheneberg
(February 8, 1956 ~ July 24, 2017)

Mike “Big G” Scheneberg, 61, of Chesapeake, OH, crossed over to peace and tranquility of the heavens to be reunited with his loved ones on July 24th, 2017 at home. Born on February 8th, 1956 in Cabell County, WV, he was a son of John B. Scheneberg and Beatrice B. Coleman Scheneberg, raised in Guyandotte, WV. In addition to his parents Mike will be happily reunited with his brother Andrew, sister, Evelyn, brother-in-law, David Kreke, in-laws, Patsy and Billy Grover, brother-in-law Bobby Grover, sister-in-laws, Jeannie Dawson and Sharon Grover and his beloved Hurley Girl. Mike was a truly devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hardworking man who carried on his father’s legacy as a successful contractor. He shared his knowledge, skill and trade with his daughter, nephews and grandson to ensure that his legacy be never ending. Mike was a man that stood true to his morals and values always, whose word was his bond and the greatest provider and protector of his loved ones. When he wasn’t working, he liked taking trips to Florida with his family. He is survived by his loving wife and true soulmate of 39 years, Theresa (Terri) Grover Scheneberg, daughter Samantha and fiancée’ Michael Nelson, grandson and the apple of his eye, Kaleb Michael, sisters, Suzanne Scheneberg Kreke and Martha Reynolds with husband Jack, brother Lee Scheneberg, sister-in-law’s, Connie Scheneberg, Lori Rogers with husband Mike, nephews, Mickey Scheneberg with Lisa, Jimmy, John Owen and Fred Scheneberg, Michael and Matthew Rogers, Tony and Adam Dawson, niece Andrea Jean, and his furry friends Obie Wan and Otto, along with numerous other family and close friends. Upon Mikes request there will be no services held at this time. The family will have a Celebration of his life at a later date.
