Robert A. "Bob" Bias
(December 15, 1947 - December 18, 2014)


Robert A. “Bob” Bias, 67, of Genoa, WV, husband of Helen S. Lucas Bias, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014, at his residence. He was born December 15, 1947, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Benjamin L. and Mary S. Spears Bias. His daughter, Tracy Lynn Bias also preceded him in death. Bob was a carpenter by trade but was also a former Huntington Policeman, a member of the F.O.P., and a Mason. He is a member of the Genoa Church of Christ. In addition to his wife survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Misty and Greg Adkins of Salt Rock, and Katelyn Renee Bias of Genoa; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Tamela Bias of Genoa; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Jean Carver of Belpre, OH; four grandchildren, Jason D. Adkins, Robert Eugene Adkins, Benjamin Bias, and Mary Bias; five great grandchildren, Hayden, Alexis, Madison, Hunter, and Natalee; and a niece, Melinda Carver Stanley. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, December, 22, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary with Minister Ronnie Ross officiating. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock.
