Obituary

Carol Lee Bolling
(April 3, 1936 - December 13, 2014)



Mrs. Carol Lee Bolling, 78, of Huntington, W. Va., went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2014, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House after an extended illness. Carol Lee was born April 3, 1936 in Cabell County the daughter of the late Howard H. Wright and Evelyn Park Leach Wright. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry E. Bolling of Huntington; daughter, Tara Anne Dyer and husband Ron of Huntington; and granddaughter Jessica Riffe Dunfee and husband Scott of Huntington. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Dyer of Huntington. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Evelyn Skye Copas of Dayton, OH and EmmaLayne Claire Tidd of Hurricane WV; and a host of friends. Carol was a woman of many interests, she loved flowers, enjoyed playing the piano, and was active in the Huntington-Cabell Republican Women’s Club. She was truly a unique individual and never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, graduated from Huntington High School in 1954 and retired from the former C & O Railroad. The funeral will be held noon Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington with Pastor Alan Williams officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. The family will receive friends at the viewing from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
