Obituary

"So do not fear for I am with you always, do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous, right hand." Isaiah, 41:10
Judith Browning Clark, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend lost her precious life after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on February 15, 2016, in Huntington, West Virginia. Judy was an Executive Assistant at the Huntington Museum of Art (HMA) where she took pride in the Museum and truly loved her co-workers. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Harry H. Browning and Helen Rose Center Browning. Judy was born April 23, 1942. She graduated in 1960 from Huntington High School, where she was crowned Ms. Pony Express. Judy loved her classmates and became extremely active in the Reunion Committee for her graduating class. After high school, Judy became a full-time Mother, devoting her life to her three wonderful children. Her children meant everything to her, along with her love of gardening, boating, basket weaving and animals, especially her dog, "Boogee". Her most favorite time of the year was her annual girls trip! She also enjoyed special times with her dear friend Peggy Baker. Survivors include: Paul D. Clark, III, and his wife Belinda of Huntington; David Howard Clark and his wife Becky of Hebron, KY; and Allison Rose Rohrer and her husband, Alex of Lexington, KY; and her grandchildren, Logan, Madeline, Maggie, Jonathan, Abby, Lexi and Kara. Judy will be missed by all who knew her. She was an angel, a kind sweet soul who put everyone before herself. The family would like to express their greatest appreciation for the doctors, nurses and staff on 5 West, and especially in the ICU at Cabell Huntington Hospital. We were so comforted in this difficult time by their caring and amazing staff. Funeral services will be conducted Noon Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Rev. Peter Schoew and Rev. David Richards officiating. Private burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Little Victories or the Huntington Museum of Art.
