Obituary
Gracalie Wroten Cook, 82, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Huntington, departed this life Friday, September 2, 2016. She was born April 27, 1934 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late James and Nannie Belle Yates Wroten. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stone Cook, two step-sons, Thomas Cook and Daniel Cook, and a daughter-in-law, Cathy Cook. Survivors include two brothers, Cecil Wroten of Enterprise, AL, and Franklin "Butch" Wroten (Phyllis) of Seminole, FL; two daughters, Cynthia Copeland of Salt Lake City, UT, and Stella Rabinowitz (Steve) of Wellington, FL; two sons, Jim Dillistone (Claudia) of Lexington, KY, and David Dillistone (Silver) of Huntington; three step-sons, David Cook (Jan) of Sunnyvale, TX, James Cook (Lisa) of Dallas, TX, and Charles Cook of Huntington; 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, September 9, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5640 Shawnee Drive, with Bishop Frank Kirby officiating. Entombment will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Garden Building.
