Leroy Samples, 77, of Huntington, husband of Linda Lou Skaggs, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his residence. He was born August 2, 1939 in Huntington, a son of the late Mary Elizabeth Stringer Samples. A son, Brian Keith Samples and a brother, Delmas Samples also preceded him in death. He was a former car trader and salesman. Additional survivors include four daughters, Mary Crist, Kathy Contreras, Sabrina Perdue, and Melody Alexander; three sons, Larry Lee Samples, Greg Samples, and Tony Samples; a sister, Delores Braggs; and 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Friends may attend a Celebration of Life 3:00-4:00 pm Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary.
