Michael Allen Carpenter, 65, of Huntington, died Saturday, February 23, 2019, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Born June 12, 1953, in Huntington, WV, he was the son of the late Mildred I. Carpenter. One son, Stephen Carpenter also preceded him in death. He was a custodian at the First Church of the Nazarene, where he was a member. Survivors include a sister, Marsha McNeely of Huntington; a daughter, Stephanie Carpenter and a grandson Stephen Michael Carpenter. There are to be no services at this time. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
