George Lee Scheneberg, 70, of South Point, OH, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born December 26, 1949 in Huntington, WV a son of the late John Bluford and Beatrice Burwell Coleman Scheneberg. Two brothers, Andrew and Mike and a sister, Evelyn, also preceded him in death. He was the owner and operator of Commercial Ceilings and Floors. He was a hard worker and worked with his hands until he went home. Survivors include: two sons, Jimmy Scheneberg and Mickey (Lisa) Scheneberg, all of Huntington; his loving ex-wife, Donna Scheneberg of Milton, WV; step sons, Doug, Chris, and Jason; grandchildren, Brittnee, Landon, Cameron, Tyler, Hannah, Jason, Sammi, and Kelsea; three great grandchildren, Grayson, Liam, and soon to arrive River Lee; and two sisters, Suzanne Kreke of Proctorville, OH and Martha (Jack) Reynolds of Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Bob Withers officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before the service Thursday at the funeral home.
