Robert Lewis Federer, Jr.


Robert Lewis Federer, Jr, 69, of Huntington, WV, died Friday September 4, 2020 in St. Mary's Medical Center after a short battle with lung cancer. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday September 8, 2020 at the Central Free Will Baptist Church, 451 6th Ave Huntington with Pastors Steve and Aaron Williams officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Robert was born October 18, 1950 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Robert L and Anna L Perry Federer. He was the retired owner of Lindsie's Construction and a member of the Central F.W.B. Church. He was also preceded in death by his children, Lindsie, Nikki, Shawn and Lisa Federer and Larry Stollings, siblings, Patricia Lemon and James Federer, and his mother-in-law, Audrey Lambert. Survivors include his wife Judy Federer, one daughter, Lisa (Robbie) Payton, grandchildren, Shawn, Morgan, Emily, Madison, Cameron, Deborah (Ryan), Hannah (Zachary), Kayla (Richard) and Emily, 9 great grandchildren, siblings, Carolyn (GB) Berry, Jeff (Tammy) Federer, brother-in-law, Richard (Cheri) Lambert, childhood friend, Richard (Red) Wyatt and several nieces and nephews. Bob was a hardworking man who loved and took very good care of his family. He had many friends who he loved like family. Bob fought a good fight, he finished his course and kept his unwavering faith. Pallbearers will be Robbie Payton, Jeff Federer, Aaron Williams, Richard Wyatt, G.B. Berry and Ryan Vinson. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Central Building Fund at the church. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday at the church. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
