William Eugene Gadd, 86 of Ona, WV widower of JoAnn Miller Gadd, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born November 20, 1933 in Duo WV, Greenbrier County, a son of the late Claude and Lily Hart Gadd. Two daughters, Sharon Newman and Cathy Daniels, and three brothers also preceded him in death. He was the owner/operator of Gadd's IGA in Alderson WV for many years and was a member of the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church. Survivors include two grandsons, Michael Daniels and Sean Daniels (Stephanie) all of Huntington; a sister, Mary Martinez of Ronceverte, WV; one son-in-law, Roger Daniels also of Huntington; 5 great-grandchildren, Ellie, Rachael, Jonah, Xavier and Colbie Daniels. A memorial graveside service will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, September 14, 2020 at Wallace Memorial Cemetery on Sam Black Church Road, Crawley, WV, with Sean Daniels and Rev, Gary Baker officiating. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, WV is assisting the family.
