Obituary
Somboon Maow Partlow, 67, of
Huntington, died Saturday, January 15, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center.
She was born March 24, 1954 in Chonburi, Thailand a daughter of the late Joy
Sipthom Pemtong. She was a homemaker and Buddhist by faith. She enjoyed yoga
and loved her yoga family at Yoga Studio. She was adventurous, and liked the
outdoors, fishing, and walks in the park. She liked to travel and take
pictures of the beautiful things that caught her eye, and loved potted
plants. Somboon battled Lupus for more than 30 years, and though it robbed
her of her beauty and many other attributes it could not steal her beautiful
fighting spirit. She was a tough as nails survivor, very genuine and spoke
her mind fearlessly. Survivors include her four children whom she loved
dearly, and spouses, Brian and Elizabeth Kleinhenz of Chino Hills., CA,
Robert and Earlene Rice of North Las Vegas, NV., Karen and Eric Rice of
McCallen, TX., and Zachary and Katelynn Partlow of Huntington; and three
grandchildren, Ocean Kleinhenz of Chino Hills, CA., Aniliah Rice of Las
Vegas, and Robert Rice of Las Vegas. Private memorial services will be
conducted at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
Somboon "Maow" Partlow will be missed by those who had the good fortune to
know her.
