Obituary

Gary Winford Call, 67, of Hurricane, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 at Teays Valley Hospital, Hurricane, WV. Graveside services will be held 1 pm Friday, September 12, 2008 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Gary was born December 1, 1940 in Winfield, WV, a son of the late Elmer E. and Mildred M. Erwin Call. He was a retired employee of the City of Huntington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by three children, Donna (Dean) Lauffer, Hope (Scott) Ashworth all of Hurricane and Gary Michael (Tori) Call of Scott Depot; four sisters, Wanda McCallister of Ona, Pauline (Bill) Ferranti of Hurricane, Mary Lou (Allen) Dailey of Culloden, and Barbara (Bill) Vaughn of Red House; two brothers, Larry (Lana) Call of Hurricane and Vernon Call of St. Albans; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. At Gary’s request there will be no visitation. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, is assisting the family.
