James Donald Banks

James Donald “Jimmy” Banks, 45, of Huntington, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 in Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Funeral Service will be 2 pm Friday, April 24, 2009 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington with Rev. Art Hage officiating. He was born November 18, 1963 in Ashville, NC a son of the late Grady Donald Banks and Virginia Mae Roberson Banks of Huntington. James was a very loving and kind soul who would do everything he could for anyone in need. He was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Stern Jackson Jr. and Robert Thomas. James is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Rose A. Chapman Banks and their son, James Grady Banks. He is also survived by a special niece, LuChelle O’Connor of Lawrenceville, GA; two great nephews, Jerry and Phillip O’Connor; a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the funeral home.
