Gregory Lee Christopher
(December 20, 1951 - April 19, 2009)

Gregory Lee Christopher, 57 of Huntington, passed from his earthly home on Sunday, April 19, 2009. Funeral Services will take place 2 pm Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington with Rev. Paul Farley officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Greg was born December 20, 1951 in Huntington, a son of the late John Grant and Lois Nimmo Christopher. He was an employee of The Herald-Dispatch. Gregory was the proud author of his novel, which was published in 2007, "Truth of the Brunswick's Legend". In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Delbert Lee Christopher. He is survived by his loving children, a son, Larry Elisha Christopher; a step-daughter, Joy Dawn Christopher; a step-son Ferris Gene Christopher; two brothers, Kevin Ray (Laura Leigh) Christopher of Huntington and Larry Grant Christopher of Huntington; one sister, Lisa Ann Christopher of Chesapeake, Ohio; the mother of his children, Mabel Christopher of Huntington; special friend Ferris G. Harrington of Huntington; an aunt, Eunice Luciller (Theodore W.) Withrow of Huntington. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
