Ida Dean
(May 19, 1923 - December 10, 2011)

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 Ida Dean, 88 of Huntington, WV was born May 19, 1923 to the late Bennie Needham and Esther Smith Needham in Forest, Mississippi. She departed this life on December 10, 2011 in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be 1pm, Monday, December 19, 2011 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, with Bishop Samuel Moore officiating. She is preceded in death by her husband Peter Dean; her mother and father; her sisters: Thelma Needham, Bobbie Gene Leonard, and Alma Tolson; and her brothers: Bennie Needham and Homer Needham. Ida leaves to cherish her precious memories: her adoptive son Calvin Wade, Jr.; sisters, Bernice Rogers of Lake City, SC, Thelma Grady of Erie, PA; Gloria Lewis of Englewood, NJ; and her sister-in-law May Needham of Laurel, MS. Her memory will also be treasured by her nieces, nephews, and a host of loving, devoted, and caring friends. Visitation will be from 11am to service to at the funeral home. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
