Obituary
Leron S King
LeRon Scott King, 40 of Huntington, WV was born November 2, 1971 to the Late Mary Rebecca Chapman. He was a graduate of Huntington High School where he was a member of the 1988 WV SSAC "AAA" boys basketball State Championship team and the 1989 All State Football team. He attended Marshall University where he was a member of The 1991, 1992, and 1993 championship teams. He owned and operated the real estate investment company KL Ventures LLC, which allowed him to give back to the community, including sponsorship of the Curtis W. King Round Ball Classic. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Curtis W. and Rachel King, and his paternal grandmother Dorothy Chapman. He leaves to Cherish his precious memories: his wife Shelly Estep King; his two daughters Iman Hill and Isis King; his two sons Isaac King and Ilias King; his aunt Loretta King Ford and her husband Al Ford; his uncle Mark King. His memory will also be treasured by his cousins, sisters, brothers, nephews and caring friends. LeRon departed this life on December 18, 2011 in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Memorial Service will be 6 pm Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Sixteen Street Baptist Church, Huntington with visitation be 4-6pm at the Church.
