Jynnea' Nichol Shropshire
Jynnea' Nichol Shropshire, 21 of Huntington, daughter of Bryon and Rhonda (Perry) Shropshire, sister of Matthew Shropshire and granddaughter of Eleanor (Qualls) Perry, passed away December 14, 2011 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Jynnea was preceded by her grandfathers, Dr. Clyde Perry, Jr, Vasco D Shropshire, and grandmother Ruby (Blanche) Shropshire. Born October 30, 1990 in Huntington, WV, Jynnea was a member of First Baptist Church of Huntington. Jynnea was involved in singing, dancing, and acting in local groups; including Jeslyn Performing Arts Center, Elite Academy, and H.O.T. She attended Huntington High School and was on the dance team, which she was selected 2 years running as a member of Who's Who Sports Edition for Dancing and performed in school plays. She was pursing an acting career with ABC casting in New York City, while in New York she won first place in a national contest for best cold read of a script against 200 competitors in 2008. Jynnea was employed as a free-lance writer and worked at Marquee Cinemas, which she enjoyed. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., December 19 at First Baptist Church 801 6th Ave, Huntington. In lieu of Flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home has assisted the family.
