Michele Anne Raines Crane
(May 26, 1947 - February 14, 2015)

Michele Ann Raines Crane, 67, of Huntington, widow of Stuart K. Crane, entered into eternal rest at her home on February 14, 2015. Born May 26, 1947 at the old C&O Hospital in Huntington to Charles Lee and LaVeda Tatum Raines, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Baptist Temple, very strong in her faith, and was blessed with a wonderful church family. Michele is survived by her two daughters, Amy (Gary) Parsons of Branchland, WV and Julie McVey of Huntington; her two brothers, Terry (Karen) Raines of St. Albans and William Raines of Sanford, NC; her sister, Cynthia Mahle of Hephzebah, GA; four grandchildren, Gary and Asa (Andy) Parsons, Drew and Summer McVey, and six great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Hospice of Huntington, and also special thanks to Sharon McCoy, Juanita Threatte, Wayne Walden, her very special friends. Michele’s family will hold a memorial service in her honor at the 21st Street Baptist Temple in Huntington at a later date and time.
