Jan Orlin Petties Sr.,

   Of Huntington, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at the age of Sixty-Three years, Eight months. He was born September 15th, 1956 in Beckley, WV, to the late Isiah Petties and Pauline (Rogers) Petties.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death two brothers: Robert Lee Pettis, and James Edward Petties; and one sister, Patricia Ann Petties.

   Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter: Monica Petties; and two sons, Jan Orlin Petties Jr, and William Isiah Petties Sr. He is also survived by one sister; Betty Petties-Robinson; and two brothers; John Thomas Petties, and Kenneth Eugene Petties. He is also survived by ten grandchildren: Shyne Hall, Tyce Hall, Sara Borders, Rachael Borders, Ya’Riah Petties, Ja’Ziah Petties, Zi’Anna Petties, Dymond Petties, William Isiah Petties Jr, and Tanayveon Hampton. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Teresa Brown Petties.

    A Home-Going service will be held at 1:00 P.M, Monday, May 24th, 2021 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, WV with Bishop Samuel Moore officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M, Monday, May 24th, 2021 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home.
