Janice Marie Darst, 76, of Ona went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 16, 2016 at her home. She was born August 31, 1939 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Nathan and Bertha Webb. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Shull; three brothers, Harrison, Emmitt and Amos Webb; and a sister, Mabel Shaffer. Janice was a member of Barker’s Ridge United Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jack Darst; one daughter, Jacqueline Garrett and her husband, Dorin of Milton; one sister, Barbara Mount and her husband, Dora of Ona; one brother, Denver Webb and his wife, Arlene and two granddaughters, Emily and Kayla Garrett. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Barker’s Ridge United Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Webb Cemetery, Ona. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Heck Funeral Home, Milton is in charge of arrangements.
