Obituary

LORA GAY BLEDSOE PRICE, 67, formerly of Milton, passed away Friday, October 8, 2004, in Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. She was born May 30, 1937, in Milton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Richard G. and Alyene Chapman Bledsoe. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Bledsoe and one sister, Judith Bledsoe Diz. She graduated from Milton High School in 1955 and attended Huntington Business College. She was a member of the Steel Memorial United Methodist Church, Barboursville and a member of the Eastern Star for more than 39 years. Her hobby was genealogy research. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Hickman and her husband Darrell of Uniondale, Ind., and Lisa Auffant of Ossian, Ind.; one son, Stephen Price and his wife Deana of Bluffton, Ind.; one sister, Ruth Ann Ferrigno and husband Joseph of Derby, Conn.; three grandchildren, Amy Houston, Christopher Hickman and Jonathan Auffant and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home.
