ObituaryGARLAND LEONARD HOLLEY, 80, of Milton went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 20, 2005, at his residence. Graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2005, in Holley Cemetery, Milton, with the Rev. Windell Shull officiating. He was born August 15, 1924, in Cabell County, a son of the late Arvil and Ollis Edmunds Holley. Garland retired from Huntington State Hospital in 1986 and was a member of Bias Chapel Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Holley; six children, Lona Jean McGuffin, Timothy Holley, Garland Holley Jr., Shirley Jeffers, Juanita Henry and Mike Holley; grandchildren, Kent Holley, Bethany Holley, Andrew Holley, Arvil Holley, Garland Ray Holley, Melissa Holley, Jeremy Henry, Robert Holley, Michael Holley and Scottie Holley; and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his aunt, Macil Massie and stepson, Fletcher Charles Chinn III. Garland has many friends and neighbors who loved and cared for him and he will be sadly missed.
