Obituary

JASON E. SMITH, 27, of Ashton passed away Monday, May 30, 2005, in Pleasant Valley Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Pete Meadows Cemetery, Glenwood. He was born September 14, 1977, in Point Pleasant, a son of James and Vickie Smith. He is also survived by three brothers and one sister-in-law, Jamie Smith of Glenwood, Josh Smith of Ashton and John and Rhonda Smith of Glenwood; one sister and brother-in-law, April and Denny Nibert of Gallipolis Ferry; maternal grandparents, Wyndall and Helen Edmunds of Ashton; two nephews, J.D. Nibert and Aaron Smith; one niece, Shala "Britches" Nibert; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
