Obituary

Debbie Lynn Melton, 47, of Milton, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007 at her residence.  Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Union Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.  She was born January 23, 1960 in Cabell County, a daughter of, Jim and Kay Chapman Woodyard.  She is also survived by two daughters, Jessica Melton and Ashley Melton; and their father, Gary Melton; one brother, Jamie Woodyard and his wife Lexa; paternal grandmother, Christine Woodyard.  She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jim A. Woodyard; maternal grandparents, General and Evelyn Chapman; best friend, Dobie.  She worked for the American Red Cross and was attending St. Mary’s Nursing School.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
