Obituary

Della Spencer Rummel, 66, of Red House, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, May 14, 2007 at her residence.   Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Minister W. R. Bud Lucas officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park.  Della was born January 1, 1941 in Kanawha County, a daughter of the late Gail and Grace Jarvis Deweese.  She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Spencer.  She was avid gardener and quilter.  She will be sadly missed by husband, Bobby Rummel; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Danny Conrad of Milton, Cathy and Hugo Lewis of Charlotte, N.C.; one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Julie Spencer of Charlotte, N.C.; one brother, Dickie Deweese; six sisters, Nina Bailey, Nata Coon, Judy Smith, Dorothy Black, Linda Crookshank and Donna Collins; four grandchildren, Christopher Shaw, Zacary Lewis, Krista Conrad and Kenna Spencer and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
