James
Hallie Nicholas, 78, of
Milton, joined his Savior’s
heavenly choir early Thursday morning, September 6, 2007.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007
at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Kim Stone officiating.
Burial will follow in
Milton
Cemetery.
He was born May 24, 1929, the youngest child of the late, James E.
and Eliza McCallister Nicholas. Also preceding him were
one brother, seven sisters, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert
and Pansy Meadows. He is survived by his loving wife,
Evelyn Meadows Nicholas; one daughter and son-in-law, Rosanna and Philip
Spurlock; granddaughter who he called “Sugarfoot”, Maggie Jo Spurlock; and a
host of friends. He served his country in the United
States Army during the Korean Conflict. He also attended
Liberty Baptist. He will be sadly missed by all that
knew him and will never be forgotten. Friends may visit
from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
