Obituary

Evelyn Mohr Vance, 76, of Milton passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor David Vickers officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  She was born May 26, 1931 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Henry and Myrtie Setliff Mohr.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Otho Grant Vance; one brother, Bill Mohr.  She was a member of the Portersville Baptist Church.  She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Darryl and Ellen Vance and Austin and Rhonda Vance; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tina Runyon and Frances and Jay Swanzy; two sisters, Dorothy Dillon and Shirley Wilson; six grandchildren, William Austin Vance II, Patrick Justin Vance, Brad Vance, Miranda Evelyn Chapman, Laura Michelle Neel and Edward Allen Neel II.; seven great-grandchildren, Tucker Vance, Tyler Vance, Justin Chapman, Timothy Chapman, Nathan Chapman, Elijah Neel and Katheryn Neel.  Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be sent to the Porterville Baptist Church.
