Obituary

Dallas Edward Chapman, 52, of Milton, husband of Deloris Smith Chapman, passed away May 10, 2009 at his home.  Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Smith Cemetery, Scott Depot, WV, with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating.  There will be no visitation.  He was born March 20, 1957 in Milton, WV, a son of Dallas E. Chapman and the late Louise Chapman.  He was also preceded in death by two twin granddaughters, Sara and Kara Smith.  In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Justin and Nichole Chapman of Hurricane, Richard and Cassie Smith of Milton and Rodney and Brandi Gillispie of Milton; one daughter, Krystle Franz of Milton; five grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Dakota Gillispie, Natosha Franz and Jarred Messinger; two brothers, Clem Chapman and Wendall Chapman, both of Milton; and two sisters, Doris Chapman of Nitro and Sue Robinson of Milton.  Heck Funeral Home, Milton is in charge of arrangements.
