Obituary

Homer Daniel Yates, 72, of Milton, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at his residence.  He was born June 15, 1937 in Cabell County, WV a son of the late, Homer W. and Sophie Elliott Yates.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Allen Yates and two sisters, Rosemary Cooper and Carole Coleman.  He is survived by his son, Danny Leroy Yates of South Point, OH; sister, Dortha Jean Adams of Milton; brother, Paul Yates of Milton; two grandchildren, Cora Basenback and Billy Joe Basenback; one great granddaughter, Kyra Traylor.  There will be a time of gathering for friends and family on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
