Velma Emogene “Jean” Cruce Gottshall of Milton, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 24, 2015, the eve of Christ’s birth at her home. She was born October 3, 1930, the daughter of the late Glenn and Hazel Cruce. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Arthur Clinton Gottshall in 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Gottshall McDermott and her husband, William Alan; son, David Gottshall; grandsons, William McDermott and his wife, Megan and Adam McDermott and his fiancé, Kaitlyn McCallister. Jean was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in Hurricane, WV for many years. She loved Jesus and was dedicated to his service. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park. Friends can pay their respects at Heck Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 30.
