IRMA ADKINS
(April 14, 1923 - January 28, 2009)

IRMA ADKINS, 85, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born April 14, 1923 in Mingo County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Lewis Patrick and Pearl Harris Smith. She was the widow of Everett "Tucker" Adkins. She was employed at the Sylvania Electric. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mildred Mount, Elsie Smith, Nancy Jane Smith, and Edith Cook; one granddaughter, Jessica Lydia Lazaro. She is survived by her daughter, Ginger Lazaro and one brother, Marvin L. Smith, both of Huntington West Virginia. She was member of the Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE. Visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Rev. Richard Sexton will be officiating. HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE is handling arrangements.
