CHARLES H. GRUBBS, JR.
(July 30, 1959 - March 31, 2009)

CHARLES H. GRUBBS JR. 49, of Barboursville, WV, went to heaven on March 31, 2009. He is now untied with his family, the late Charles and Edith Grubbs (dad and mom), and Luke Grubbs (Brother). He is survived by his son, Ryan Grubbs and Ryan's mother, Jan, both of Florida. He is also survived by his dog Buster (dad's boy). Additional survivors are his sisters, Pamela Dunfee, Rebecca Brick and Angela King; many nieces and nephews. He loved them all very much. A special place in Charley's heart was for Chris Grubbs and Wolf Tittel, along with many other very close friends, who will miss him greatly, including his wonderful neighbors. Charley was a machinist and steel fabricator at Huntington Steel for 15 years, a Cabell County Vocational Technical graduate, a Barboursville High School graduate of 1977, a member of the Moose Lodge 2586 and a Boy Scout leader. Charley loved football (a big MU Herd fan), fishing, flea markets, basketball, golf, camping, hunting, building things in his workshop, and mostly telling stories in his unique way," which always made us laugh. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at the HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE with Jessica Slash residing. Following the services, family and friends are invited to Angela Grubbs King's home for a “New Life Celebration” gathering and dinner in Charley's memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Victories Animal Shelter. HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE is handling arrangements.
