PATRICK DENNIS LIPSCOMB
(May 15, 1949 - March 30, 2009)

PATRICK D. "Rocky" LIPSCOMB, 59, of Barboursville, West Virginia died Monday, March 30, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 1:00 PM at HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE, with Rev. Trent Eastman officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville. The family will receive friends from 6 - 9 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Rocky was born May 15, 1949 to Glen Steele and Catherine Miller Lipscomb. He is survived by his wife, Donna Smith Lipscomb and two sons; Brandon Lipscomb (Laura Weitner) of Huntington, and Justin Lipscomb of Delaware, OH, one grandson; Lachlan Lipscomb of Delaware, OH, and two brothers; Mike Lipscomb (Marsha) of Chapin, SC and Tracy Lipscomb (Bonnie) of Barboursville, West Virginia. He is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was a graduate of Barboursville High School and Devry Institute of Technology. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving his country from 1969-1971 in Vietnam as an Artillery Sergeant. He retired from Steel of WV after 36 years of service. He loved to hunt and fish with his friends and family. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation for the care that Hospice provided for Rocky. HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE, is handling arrangements for the family.
