DOROTHY FAYE WHEELER
(March 21, 1921 - February 21, 2010)

DOROTHY FAYE WHEELER, 88, of Huntington, W.Va passed away, Sunday, February 21, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 21, 1921 in Kentucky a daughter of the late Arthur and Lena McCann Hiltibrand. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville WV. Friends may call from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doliver Wheeler in 1981, and three sisters, three brothers, one daughter Mitzi Shepherd and one great-grandson James Brooks Louis. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Fletcher of Huntington, W.Va, Lorna and Jim North, Jackson, TN, brother, Frank and Mary Hiltibrand, Newport, KY and sister-in-law Jean Hiltibrand, Newport, KY. Six grandchildren, Michael and Cheryl Fletcher, Greg and Angie Fletcher, Amy and Jeff Louis, Carrie  and Chris Lewis, Jamie and Cory Shumate, Emily Shepherd and friend Travis McClung. Sixteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and her two furry companions, Honey and Petey. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Dorothy was a former employee of W.T. Grant Co, and retired from Fruth Pharmacy. She was a member of Grace Gospel Church of Huntington. HENSON MORTUARY OF BARBOURSVILLE, is assisting the family with arrangements.
