DARVIN BOSTER
Darvin M. “Junior” Boster, 81 of Barboursville, WV, went to be with the Lord to join his loving wife, Nila on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV with Pastor Paul Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. He was born June 30, 1930 the son of the late, Darvin Boster Sr. and Alva Vernatt Boster. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Nila Christine Bowen Boster in 2005; one brother, Charles Boster. He was retired from the Cabell County Board of Education, a member of the Hash Ridge Baptist Church, Barboursville, WV and a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by Jimmy and Rita Chapman who were looked upon as son and daughter to Junior as well as their three sons, and a special grandson, Drew Chapman, Jimmy and Brad Chapman. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until service time at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV. Those Serving as pallbearers are Drew and Jimmy Chapman, Matthew Bandy, Johnny Shepherd, John Michael Shepherd , and Glen Stapleton. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #139, Milton, WV.
