ROSELLA ELICIA HUTCHISON
(October 23, 1926 - March 17, 2012)

Rosella Elicia Thompson Hutchison, 85 of Huntington, WV, went home to be with her Lord while listening to the song “Farther Along” on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at home. She was born October 23, 1926 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Robert Harlan and Effie Renee (Douglas) Thompson.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Henson Mortuary with Pastor Fred E. Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in the Milton Cemetery, Milton, WV.  She was a homemaker, was Pentecostal by faith,  member of the 23rd St. Church of God and a former volunteer at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Karen Dunfee (Henry) of Huntington, WV.; one daughter-in-law, Gail Hutchison of Ricevile, TN; two sisters, Pat Yates and Joann Westfall both of Huntington, WV; grandchildren, Elicia Dunfee of Huntington, WV and Kim Hutchinson of Riceville, TN; great-grandchildren, Danielle and Cameron Dunfee and Hunter and Cheyenne Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Rudolph Hutchison; one son, David A. Hutchison; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles H. and Kathleen Thompson; three sisters, Joyce Evette, Margaret Louise and Wilma Eileen Thompson and one grandson, Brian Hutchison. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to assist with funeral expenses.
