CHRISTINE E. VERNETTER
(December 13, 1946 - February 22, 2014)

Christine E. Vernetter, 67 of Huntington, WV went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington.  She was born December 13, 1946 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Tilden and Elizabeth Tacket Ashworth. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Timothy Paul Vernetter; one grandson, Randall Lee Dick, Jr. and one sister and four brothers. She was a homemaker, member of Fifth Ave. Freewill Baptist Church and loved a good rummage sale. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Lee “Bob” Vernetter of Huntington; three daughters,, Emma Sexton, Tammy Hughes, and Amanda Dick all of Huntington; one son, Jason Vernetter of Columbus, OH; one sister, Delores Ashworth of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Fifth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church in Guyandotte. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at the church. Arrangements under the direction of Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, WV.
