Obituary

FRED C. FUDGE
(May 19, 1934 - October 23, 2015)



Fred C. Fudge, a native of Huntington, W.Va. and was born in 1934 to the union of James and Elizabeth Fudge. Brought up in a loving Christian home and the spiritual atmosphere of Highlawn Baptist church, he accepted “the call” to Ministry in 1956. A graduate of Marshall University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, he served as pastor, missionary, evangelist and Bible lecturer for nearly sixty years. During the latter years he worked extensively in the Philippines and among Native American Churches in the west. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death his wife, Rose Fudge and one brother, Larry Fudge. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth A. and Victor A. Cope of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and one son, and daughter-in-law, Timothy C. and Laurie Fudge of Charleston, South Carolina and two granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
