Ray Albert Bowser
(May 1, 1944 - September 28, 2016)

Ray Albert Bowser, 72 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away, Wednesday, September 28, 2016. He was born May 1, 1944 in Point Pleasant, W.Va the son of the late, Elmer and Daisy Barker Bowser. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, attended West Virginia University and was Master Electrician, avid Gardener, musician and loved bluegrass music.  He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Mary Vivian Sutphin Bowser of Huntington, W.Va; children, Lisa Arbagast, Tara Marks, Greg “Homer” Law and Seth “Cooter” Law; sisters, Margaret (Bill) Priddy, Debbie Givens; brothers, Gene (Jean) Bowser, Ralph Bowser, Ernie (Nancy) Bowser and Dave (Gloria) Bowser; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va. with Pastor Brady Lipscomb officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services.
