Janet Ann Barnett Childers, 87, of Barboursville, WV, passed away, Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Community Hospice and Palliative Care, Jacksonville, FL. She was born May 5, 1931 in Cabell County, WV the daughter of the late, Irvin Wayne Barnett and Gladys Floyd Newcomb. She was retired from Lazarus Dept. Store as Cosmetic Clerk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Barnett. She is survived by two sons, Alan Dale White (Nancy) of Omaha, NB and David Lee White (Susan) of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Heather, Timmy, Patrick, Michelle and Branden; nine great-grandchildren and her best friend, Louise Chapman of Barboursville, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen East Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, West Virginia with Larry Stutler officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday at the Henson and Kitchen Mortuary.
