Charles William “Bill” Thomas, Jr., 76 of Ashland, KY, passed away, Monday, July 2, 2018 in the Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation, Ashland, KY. He was born October 27, 1941 in Carter Co, KY the son of the late, Charles W. and Elizabeth Frazier Thomas. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dottie Lou Wilburn Thomas. He was a retired Millwright and worked in the family business at CR Thomas Old Place Restaurants. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sons, Chuck and Darrell Thomas; one sister, Jean Felty and one brother, Ronnie Thomas. He is survived by his children, Robert Thomas (Nikki) of Ironton, OH, Cheryl Thomas, Ashland, KY, Rhonda Thomas-Ferrell of Ironton, OH, Michael Thomas of Ashland, KY. and Elizabeth Lynn Thomas-Christian (Mark) of Largo FL; sisters, Linda Barker of Rush, KY, Nancy McCulley of Worthington, KY and Debbie Thomas of Ashland, KY; one brother, Norris Thomas of Rush, KY; eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 East Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV 25705 with Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating. The family will be received friends an hour prior to services.
