Freda Annette “Patsy” Thompson Dutton Kuhn, 82, of Ona, WV passed away peacefully in her sleep and awoke with her Lord on Friday, June 4, 2021. She was born Thursday, October 27, 1938, in Wayne County, WV, daughter of the late Clarence and Marie Thompson. She was a retired cashier of Barboursville Tower Food Fair and cherished the memories of her many customers smiling faces and friendly conversation. Freda was a uniquely humorous, caring, humble, and quiet woman with a loving heart of gold. She touched the hearts and lives of those she knew. She was completely and unconditionally dedicated to her children and her family. Her greatest pride, gift, and legacy in life was her children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and grand-kidtens. Her heart and spirit will be missed by all those who ever came to know her. Freda was preceded in death by her first husband, William Allen Dutton, Sr. who passed in 1967 and her second husband, Hollis Gerald Kuhn who passed in 2010. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Alma Frances Fain, brother-in-law Carl, her brother Dale Thompson, sister-in-law, Jan; one granddaughter and two great-granddaughters. She leaves behind a brother, Dennis Thompson and wife Saundra of The Villages, FL. Freda is survived by her son, William “Bill” Allen Dutton, Jr. and wife Pam of Barboursville, WV; daughter, “Alesa” Lynn Slepsky and husband Mark of Madison, OH; daughter, Patricia “Annette” Stiltner and husband David of Ona, WV, as well as four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, their families and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 with Pastor Cinda Harkless officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until services time at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary 6357 East Pea Ridge Road Huntington, WV, near Barboursville, WV. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park.
