Rosalie Meadows Ash


Rosalie Yvonne Meadows Ash, 79 of Lesage, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She was born February 8, 1942 in Huntington, WV; daughter of the late Olin and Juliette Crawford Meadows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carl Quinlin Ash; one son, Carl Matthew Ash; brother, Jeffrey Meadows; and sister in law, Connie Cleo Ash. She served as a clerical assistant in the federal probation system and was a member of Guyandotte Church of Christ in Huntington, WV. Rosalie is survived by one son, Michael (Melissa) Ash; five grandchildren, Cory Westfall, Charlie Grass, Evangeline (Brandon) Watson, Emily Ash and Erica Ross; five great grandchildren, Harleigh Ross, Ariel Ross, Caleigh Ross, Harper Watson, Hunter Ross; one brother, Larry Meadows; one sister, Jennifer Ann Honaker; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a memorial service conducted at 6:00 PM Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Guyandotte Church of Christ in Huntington, WV with minister Danny Evans officiating. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. The service will be Live-Streamed on the Henson & Kitchen Mortuary Facebook page, website and YouTube Channel. The family would like to thank Rosalie's caretakers, Bernice, Donna and Paula; as well as the team at Hospice of Huntington for their excellent care.
