Kathleen (Woodall) Carpenter, age 88, of Huntington, WV passed away on November 11, 2021. She was born on July 21, 1933 in Manchester, England; daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Miller Woodall. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her daughter Joanne, her husband Lindsay, her son Wayne and grandson, Israel Carpenter. She is survived by five children, Kathryn Miller (Jeff) of Bridgeport, WV, Glenda Tracy (Paul) of Pickerington, OH, Gary Carpenter (Becki) of Huntington, WV, Craig Carpenter (Sherii) of Ona, WV and Yvonne Perez (Jaime) of Kyle, TX; twenty seven grandchildren, Kalyn Bender (Tim), Kevin Williams (Danielle), Joseph Carpenter, Ashley Rutter (JC), Olivia Carpenter, Sean Carpenter, Kristina Patton (Paul), Kodie Franks (Zack), Kara Veltri (Zack), K'Cee Miller, Ian Tracy, Joshua Tracy (Katelyn), Tony Tracy, Erin Hufstetler (Cody), Isaac Carpenter (Mycah), Isaiah Carpenter, Kaybreh Mathis (Garrett), Kathleen Johnson (Albert), Joanne Smith (Michael), Jodi Maiolo (Joseph), Cherish Carpenter, Craig Carpenter II, Micah Carpenter, Trent Carpenter, Travis Carpenter, Jaime Perez, II. and Enrique Perez; seventeen great-grandchildren, Alexus Bender, Gabe, Dane, Gage, and Kinleigh Williams, Payton and Piper Rutter, Ethan Patton, Gage and Brodie Franks, Aurora Veltri, Easton Carpenter, Sawyer and Keyser Mathis, Devon Johnson, Charlotte Smith and Joseph Maiolo; as well as family from England, two brothers, two sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. A Gathering for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 at Christ Temple Church in Huntington, WV from noon to 1 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will start a little after 1 p.m. Burial of ashes will be performed at a later date in Webster Springs, WV.
