Delores Ann Ashworth 78 of Huntington, WV passed away, Monday, September 20, 2021 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born July 11, 1943 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late, Tilden and Elizabeth Bell Tackett Ashworth. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandson, William Ashworth; two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her children, Violet Patrick (Dana), Brian Ashworth and Shawn Ashworth (Brittnie Whitmore) all of Huntington, WV; seven grandchildren, J.T., Katelyn, Hailey, Shawn Hunter, Dominka, Adrianna and Billy; one great-grandson, Elijah; a special friend, Ann Workman and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary 6357 E. Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV near Barboursville with Pastor Ray Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Herronkol Cemetery, Lesage, WV. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services on Tuesday at the mortuary.
