Audrey Geraldine Kosko Cheke, 89 of Milton, WV passed away, Wednesday, September 8, 2021 . She was born May 16, 1932 in McKeesport, PA the daughter of the late, Frank Joseph and Catherine Kapolka Kosko. She was a homemaker and member of St. Stephens Catholic Church in Ona, WV where she was a longtime member and volunteered serving in many roles. She was faithful wife of 52 years and loving mother of six children. God and family was top priority. She also built friendships and didn't know a stranger. She loved to have conversations with people everywhere. She and our father did everything they could to do things right and we are all blessed for it. Later in life, Audrey volunteered for the Literacy Program, helping people learn to read. She also visited the nursing home for many years encouraging residents. She loved to cook and bake and have plenty! She is one of a kind and we thank God for her. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Cheke; two grandsons, Joshua Cheke and Harley Andrew Perkins and one brother, Ronald Kosko. She is survived by her six children, Andrew Cheke (Barbara) of Fishertown, PA, Lori Lippai (Ray) of West Mifflin, PA, Raymond Cheke (Sharon) of Winchester, KY, Christine Perkins (Jack) of Barboursville, WV, John Cheke of Melbourne, FL and Carl Cheke (Tamatha) of Milton, WV; brothers, Richard Kosko (Agnes) of Rochester, NY and Regis Kosko of North Huntingdon, PA; ten grandchildren, Eric Cheke, Sarah Lippai, Luke Lippai, Alex Lippai, Amber Kerr, Heather Mills, Heidi Perkins, Nicholas Cheke, Nicole Cheke and Emily Cheke; eight great-grandchildren, Jade Cheke, Liam Kerr, Beckham Kerr, Ryder Mills and Braxton Vickers, Christian Kerr, Mason Howell and Rilynn Vickers; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family would like to thank all of the caregivers who cared for her over the years. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 2491 James River Turnpike, Ona, WV 25545.
