Janice Ann Webb Waters
(April 20, 1961 - September 11, 2022)
An obituary is exactly what it is, an obituary. But let me
tell you the Testimony of a Faithful servant of the Lord, Janice
Ann Webb Waters, 61, of Huntington West Virginia, passed Sunday
September 11th 2022 at her residence 5:13 am. She was born April 20th 1961
in Hamilton Ohio. She graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, WV
with an Associates Degree in social work. She later started her own cleaning
business Helping Hands Cleaning Services that was a ministery and therapy
everyday on the job that touched so many peoples lives through her work.
Janice was proceeded in death by her father Cleatus Alroy Webb Senior, her
mother, Margaret Ann Good, sisters, Deborah Patterson and Penny Portwood,
and brothers, Cleatus Webb Jr., and Michael Webb. She is survived by her ex
husband John Waters, who is the father of her children Tiffany Waters,
Stephanie and Danjuma Marshall, Melissa White and the children she raised as
her own, her 2 nieces, Jamie Webb, Ashley Webb and nephew, Michael Webb.
Janice is also leaving behind her 6 favorite people in the entire world her
grandchildren- Jymyre Waters, Trinity Kinney, Tyson Davis, Sean Eplion,
Addison Eplion and Khamari Webb. Janice is also survived by her sister, Mary
Kay Webb and brother James Webb. Janice left behind several family and
friends that meant the world to her: Matt, Tina, Jeanie, Catherine, Mindy,
Doug, Sabrina, Kim, Ragina, Libby, Kat, Jackie, Dennis, Brian, Lonna, Roger
the list could literally go on for days that is how impactful she has been
walking with the Lord everyday. She loved all her family endlessly and spent
her time on Earth being the best friend, aunt, and cousin she could be.
There is so many people that deserve to be in this testimony of Janice
Waters. God truly worked through her everyday. She never judged and she
would give the shirt off her back for even a stranger just like our God. The
God in her shined bright through to the God we all where trying to find in
ourselves. Janice joined her church family many years ago with Pastor Doug
and Chrystal Johnson also Pastor Chuck Smith and dedicated her life to
having everyone she knew involved in any way she possibly could, weather
that being cleaning the Fathers house to serve the lord or any way the Lord
seen fit. She was a very honorable woman of God and that testimony in her
was enough to change the heart of a non believer. She suffered from stage
four cancer in several areas of her body-lungs, stomach, and ovarian cancer.
She was lucky to live a year with the diagnosis, the doctors had given her 4
and half years ago. She WON this battle Janice Ann Waters is offically pain
free and CANCER FREE praise God the battle is won and the enemy has been
defeated. God is still working through my mom today in so many ways even
after her homecoming. All of her family and friends have come together and
made the impossible possible, allowing God to work through each and everyone
of us and allow her final wish to be abuntantly fulfilled with grace and
peace, that is everything she ever stood for and desired everyday. Janice
will not be having a traditional funeral she will be having a celebration of
life with each and everyone of us please join us at Christ Temple Church
Friday September 16, 2022 visitation is at 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and the Going
home Celebration will be held immediately after at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. The
Burial will be held at Woodmere Memorial Park Huntington WV 25704 on Monday
September 19, 2022 at 3:00 pm everyone is welcome to both services for
Janice Waters.
