Callie Marcum Lawson

Callie M. Lawson, 89, of Huntington, died Saturday, November 10, 2012. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Woodmere Memorial Park's Abbey of Remembrance by the Rev. Bob Withers. Interment will follow. Callie was born May 10, 1923 in Lincoln Co., WV; a daughter of the late Winfield and Sallie Finley Marcum. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lawson; a brother, George Marcum and a sister, Ruth Marcum. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ann Nedrow and her husband Richard of Homosassa, FL and Pamela Kay McDonough and her husband Tom of Brandon, MS.; two granddaughters, Wendy Snoddy and Jennifer Lindsey and 5 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gladys Marcum Breeding (Arthur), Edith Marcum Johnson, and Willa Marcum McComas (Cecil). A special "thank you" is given to Callie's caregivers, Susan and David Riffe and family along with the supervision of Hospice of Huntington. Klingel Carpenter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
